Leadership Program

Nine Months. Thirty Leaders. Five Sessions.

IGEL takes environmental leaders beyond the conference room to experience first-hand how environmental policies and decisions impact every aspect and geography in Georgia.

Our core experiential program is focused on building and sustaining a diverse network of environmental leaders across our state. We equip leaders with the knowledge, advanced skills, and expansive network to address Georgia’s environmental challenges now and for years to come.

After graduation, new IGELians become a part of a unique and expansive network of environmental leaders, with access to an extensive knowledge base and deep connections in every corner of the state.

IGEL’s Program Goals Are:

Fostering a deeper understanding of Georgia’s environmental issues

Providing a candid, empathetic, confidential forum for participants to explore each other’s views and motivations
Engaging participants in key aspects of leadership, including creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, trust building, and enhanced communication skills
