Because the program is immersive and rigorous, we are looking for individuals who are willing to commit.
As a reminder, attendance at all four sessions is mandatory. Other requirements can be found on the program details page.
Dates for the 2026 class:
- Session 1: Virtual | July 31, 2026
- Session 2: Metro Atlanta | August 26-28, 2026
- Session 3: Virtual | September 11, 2026
- Session 4: Macon | October 21-23, 2026
The application is designed to help determine who is the best fit for our next class of IGELians, and by applying you agree that you understand the goals of IGEL:

Equip IGELians with the perspective, tools, and confidence to lead through increasingly complex, interconnected environmental issues.

Foster deeper relationships and trust among IGELians to enhance collaboration across industries, communities, and viewpoints.
3.
Advance participants’ ability to influence decisions, shape outcomes, and drive meaningful progress on critical environmental challenges statewide.
