Meet the IGEL Advanced Program Team

Our dedicated Program Team is the engine behind the development and evolution of our core leadership program. IGEL partners with the Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business to help develop and operate our carefully designed curriculum.

Lindsay Cain

Lindsay Cain joined Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business in January 2023 as the director of Executive Education. In this capacity, she collaborates with corporations and individuals to curate impactful learning experiences tailored to address complex business challenges and elevate talent. Prior to joining Robinson, Lindsay served as the associate director of client relationships at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business for nearly five years, where she spearheaded the development and execution of both in-person and online learning initiatives. Additionally, Lindsay spent six years at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). At SCAD, she managed a diverse portfolio of multidisciplinary sponsored projects, averaging 15+ collaborations annually and played an instrumental role in developing and implementing new and innovative professional education opportunities for educators. Lindsay is from Albany, GA and graduated with a degree in business from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA.

​Allison Bridges (IGEL ’23)

Allison joined the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business in 2022 as an Extension Professional for the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact. In this role, she supports the development of programs and collaborations that advance the strategic objectives of the Compact. She holds a Ph.D. in urban planning and policy from Rutgers University and continues to lecture on sustainable urban planning and sustainability management.

Prior to joining the Center, Allison completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Columbia University’s Earth Institute in the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management. Allison continues to lecture at Columbia University’s Climate School in the Sustainability Management program. Her research focuses on strategic sustainability planning and decarbonization, resiliency, and the design of networks for collective impact. Before pursuing doctoral studies, Allison worked for the World Bank in renewable energy infrastructure and for the World Health Organization in disaster relief. She also holds M.A.s from New York University and The New School, and a B.A. from the University of Georgia.

Andre Calmon

Associate Professor of Operations Management and the faculty director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business

​Dr. Andre Calmon is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business and the faculty director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business.

Andre’s research focuses on designing and optimizing sustainability and operational strategies for innovative business models. More broadly, he investigates how organizations can leverage advanced analytics and business model innovation to generate positive social and environmental impact while increasing profitability. His work has been published in premier management journals, including Harvard Business Review, Management Science, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. In 2024, Andre’s research portfolio was recognized with Georgia Tech’s Brady Family Award for Faculty Research Excellence.

A renowned educator, Andre has developed several award-winning courses, case studies, and student-led ventures through his innovative teaching methods. His sustainability pedagogical material was awarded the Grand Prize in the Page Prize competition. Andre’s teaching fosters a unique “classroom-to-startup-to-research” pipeline, with much of his research examining new management challenges faced by startups founded by his former students.

David Eady (IGEL ’24)

Program Facilitator 

Senior Industry Engagement Manager, Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business

David joined Georgia Tech in 2018 as an industry engagement manager senior., a co-appointment for the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at the Scheller College of Business and the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain in the Office of Undergraduate Education. In this role, he will expand and deepen relationships with the business sector to advance strategic objectives within the university and the two centers. Prior to joining the Centers, David spent over 23 years leading sustainability initiatives and facilitating stakeholder engagements through various professional and civic roles. He started his career as a community organizer working on environmental and public health challenges in low-income, minority, and coastal communities in Georgia and the Southeast. After graduate school, he became a fellow with the Army Environmental Policy Institute, based at Georgia Tech, and later joined the research faculty in Georgia Tech’s School of Public Policy, before working in management consulting for the last 14 years.

David has an M.S. in Urban Studies, concentrated in community planning and development, from Georgia State University, and a B.A. in philosophy, focused on environmental ethics, with additional studies in sociology, from the University of Georgia.

Michael Oxman (IGEL ’18)

Program Facilitator 

Professor of the Practice, Sustainable Business and Managing Director, Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business

Michael serves as the Managing Director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business and Professor of the Practice. He teaches business sustainability courses at undergraduate and graduate levels and helps to oversee the Center’s industry outreach, partnerships, and educational initiatives. The Center manages a number of initiatives that engage students, faculty, and industry partners including, for example, the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact. Michael has also served on numerous internal and external committees and advisory boards related to sustainability topics.

Prior to joining Scheller, Michael spent over twenty-five years working at the intersection of international business, sustainability, and risk management including serving in leadership roles at Acorn International, LLC and Business for Social Responsibility (BSR). In these roles, he advised a broad range of international companies on local content, social impact, risk management, community engagement, reporting, corporate social responsibility, and human rights initiatives.

Michael also has extensive international commercial experience through his work at Chevron, Price Waterhouse, and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in political risk, fiscal modeling/analysis, and strategic planning functions. Michael’s career spans assignments in the US and a broad range of international locations including two overseas residential assignments in Central Asia.

Michael has an MBA from Rice University, an MIA in international political economy from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), and a B.A. from Trinity College in Russian Area Studies.
